I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full
The only way to life is by believing in Jesus Christ but don’t just say you have life because there is also life left behind.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3/16 Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ will have eternal life, but few believers can survive. To be left out of life is to have a victorious life controlled by the Holy Spirit.
To live the rest of life, you must hold fast to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who is the source of all things
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. no one comes to the Father except through me. John 14/6 Jesus said, I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it. and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Hold on to me and live! And I will dwell in you; just as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15/1
Survival is not given to some believers but is something that all believers should have.
This is the deepest spiritual life. If you don’t have a surplus of life, you will be left without the taste of Christianity. If you do not have a surplus of life, do not doubt that your life will be swallowed up by various weaknesses for the world every day.
1 Cor 3/ 1,4 says.
And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
I gave you milk to drink; you were not yet strong enough for solid food. Ye are yet carnal; For whereas there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not carnal? You live according to human imagination, don’t you? For when one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? he says. So start the day you read this article and make a decision to live the rest of life and God will help you.
1)What does it mean to survive?
The rest of life is to live a bright life and a visible life.
Our Lord Jesus Christ lived this life
We have received eternal life by dying with Jesus Christ and we will live the rest of life by being raised with Him.
Col 3 /1,3 Paul says
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. You are dead; your life is hidden with Christ in God says It is one thing to receive eternal life by faith and another to live the rest of it. 2 Cor 5/21 is another life filled with righteousness.
It is one thing to believe in Christ, but it is another to have Christ fully manifested in man.
Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin; but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and present your members to God as instruments of righteousness. In Rom 6/13 it says that a believer must choose the opportunity to surrender to the Lord and it is his right to live and he can expose his life to sin and live a defeated life. Surviving life begins with surrender to the Lord.
2) the rest of life is a life of devotion to the Lord:
To live the rest of life you must serve the Lord Jesus Himself sets the example for us through service.He who was now faithful to death on the cross says Phil 2/7,8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross Roma 12 /1 and 2 adds. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. and so you will worship God in spirit.
Do not follow the example of this passing age! And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. And the love of God is to prove to yourselves the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. on Living a bright life involves three things. The first is self-discovery for God this implies surrender. Otherwise it is impossible to understand God’s good love. John 7/1
It is the offering of one’s humanity to God.
God wants to use our humanity to the fullest. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1Thess 5/2
Offering one’s humanity as a living sacrifice
This is evident in the life of the apostle Paul. He lived as a living sacrifice.
He was a servant of Christ in his life (Rom 1/1) he was a hero in the fight of the faith (Eph 6/10,18) he was a prisoner for the sake of Jesus Christ in living the way of God.(Eph 3/1) he was a conqueror in death ( 2Tim 4/7,8) The apostle Paul said these words while in prison. He considers prison to be a path to the heart of God’s love. So we can say that the Apostle Paul was living the rest of life.(Phil 1/12)
Therefore, stop being like the passing world and strive to know God’s good love so that your life will be changed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
3)The rest of life is a life of isolation
Paul in Rom 1/1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,
Separation means separation from the world that lives outside of God’s love and living for God’s will. 2 Corinthians 6/17 says, “But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.
• The Word of God has the power to separate believers from sin. The Lord Jesus said Your Word is truth, sanctify them in the truth John 17/17 Ps 119/11 God the Father must prepare the power of believers for the second coming of Jesus Christ 1Thess 5/23 Jesus Christ must the power of believers to present them before God without blemish of sin Eph /24,27
The Holy Spirit must prepare believers for power and authority for ministry 2 Thessalonians 2/13 You can have a relationship with God without being separated from God, but you cannot have union with Him , you can fight but you cannot win.If for God if you are addahin bain your life is like a hurricane and weak. The rest of life was revealed through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If you want to live a life of survival, live separately for God.
4)The rest of the life is a spiritual life Eph 5/18,2
The Holy Spirit dwells in all believers. You may not be strong or growing spiritually. But if you are born again (Jn 3/3,7) He has dwelled in you.1 Cor 6/19,Rom 8/9 Has the Spirit of God in you completely conquered your life? The rest of life is not determined by the circumstances around you but by the Holy Spirit filling you with power and your submission to Him.
So Paul says he is filled with the Spirit. Eph 5/1
It is necessary to be filled with the Holy Spirit all the time Acts 2/4,4/31 The apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit again and again at various times. Ho E 8/26,40 So it is necessary to be filled with the Spirit To hold joy in oneself Eph 5/19,20 To serve God Ho Er 1/8,2/4,7 To endure strongly through various trials Ho Er 1/54,60 Being led by it to live Rom 8/1
So if you want to be filled with the Holy Spirit
• She wants it eagerly
• Pray that you will be filled
• Believe that He can do it. The rest of life is a mature life.
2Pex 3/18 says so. At the feast of our Lord; and grow in the knowledge of our Savior Jesus Christ! To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. Amen. he says
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Just as there are different stages of human development, the Bible divides spiritual growth into four stages. Childhood stage 1Cor 3/1,4 Man in childhood thinks only of himself, is bored when he does not have what he wants, and is full of jealousy, cannot serve but be served, cannot eat solid food, wants to talk but cannot express full thoughts and cracks.
Similarly, such behavior is evident in the spiritual life of many believers. This shows that even if they are born again, they are still spiritually children.So we can say that such guys are spiritually children. So where are you in your life of spiritual growth? The Childhood Stage (1Jn 2/12) Some Christians live their spiritual development life like children. A person shows different behaviors during childhood (Reflection).
For example, they have a quick temper when they are angry, what once a stone often went through, emotionally driven, self-deprecating, always being praised, wanting only their own pleasure and so on. So are you children in your spiritual life? The youthful stage (1Jn 2/13) The life of spiritual growth of such people is not reached by many people.
Such a time is the age when one has the strength and courage to overcome something when one has a vision for one’s future and for the other it is a time of faith and feeling heroic. It is also a time to prepare for the age ahead. So you too leave the childish characteristics in your spiritual life and grow up to be young in the spirit (1Cor 13/11) D Maturity stage (1Jn 2/13) This stage of spiritual growth is necessary for everyone.
Such people are at peace with God (Rom 15) They rejoice in those who are not yet spiritually mature 2 Thessalonians 2/1 and 1 Timothy1/2 He knows how to be self-sufficient in all things (Philippians4/11) ,14
He knows that all things are for his good Romans 8/2
Living the rest of life and waiting joyfully for the one to come Eph 2/7 So we must surrender to the Lord to live the rest of life. I hope you read this one and use it. Blessed
